Terms of office are for four years and membership comprises representation from industry, manufacturing, education, healthcare, support services, consumers of services and others with genuine interest in enhancing the quality of life for those with alcohol, drug addiction or mental illness. The focus of the Tri County Alcohol, Drug Addiction and Mental Health Services Board is to enhance the quality of life for residents suffering from mental illness or chemical dependency through the provision of comprehensive community programs in Mercer, Paulding and Van Wert Counties. This is accomplished through contractual agreements with local providers to ensure services are available, accessible, affordable, and appropriate to the clients needs.

Most of the money available to the Board is used to pay the agencies under contract for services and facilities. Funds also support the Board’s administrative operations.
